Feminine Butterfly Jewelry for Any Season
I miss the butterflies! Summer is over, and those gentle insects have long migrated or finished their life cycles. But I still wear my butterfly necklaces from The Magic Zoo. I have one of every single design they make. Yes, all the colored ones and the silver and gold as well. Doesn’t that get expensive? The way I see it, if you find a designer you really like, you should collect every thing of theirs you can, especially if you can afford to. You never know when someone might retire or sell their business! Besides, I look at all my jewelry as a kind of investment; if not monetarily, then as something to leave my granddaughters one day.
Now they’re only six and eight years old, but already they love to wear jewelry. One of them is crazy about dogs, but the eight year old is a blossoming little cat lady, and she loves to try on my cat-themed jewelry. “Grandma, can I put on your silver cat necklace?” This is the first thing she asks me when she sees me. But I don’t mind. She is so gentle with it, and I love to see how she lights up as soon as she puts it on! I guess I better start collecting some dog jewelry for the little one next!
