Many sunglass retailers just focus on sunglasses and forget about other items. There are many items that retailers should take into consideration when placing orders for wholesale sunglasses. One of those essential items is clip on sunglasses. Most people know what clip on sunglasses are but some may not. Clip on sunglasses are sunglasses that instead of having arms, they clip on to prescription eyeglasses. Clip on sunglasses offer a great alternative to the clunky Fit Over sunglasses, and are so much more affordable than prescription sunglasses.
Fit Over sunglasses, while very functional, are often remember as being worn by elderly people and are not usually very stylish. Fit Overs are generally very comparable in price to Clip On sunglasses, but given a choice 90% of your customers will choose Clip On sunglasses over Fit Overs. Prescription sunglasses are very stylish and lets face it, most of us would choose those over any other option. However, Prescription sunglasses can cost hundreds of dollars and break just as easily as a cheap pair of sunglasses. This generally steers most of us from shelling out that extra money when you can find a much cheaper alternative. These points are what make Clip On sunglasses so popular.
Eyeglasses come in many different shapes and sizes now. So carrying a wide variety of different shape and sized Clip On sunglasses is very important. Also allow your customers to try the clip ons on their prescription eyeglasses to insure they will fit correctly. Often times customers will look at them and just assume they will not fit, but once they try them on they will see that they work really well. Clip Ons also come in a few different styles. There is the type that have a clip right in the middle and actually clip on to the nose bridge of the eyeglasses, and also the other type that has a spring and hooks on the outside edges of the eyeglasses. Try carrying both styles so that your customers have a choice.
